As winter weather melts away to the beautiful colors of spring, there are plenty of events happening in April that will surely give people in Irvine and Orange County a reason to celebrate the changing of seasons.
With Easter, Earth Day and a handful of other annual celebrations in April, here’s a list of festive spring events that should be on every family’s activity calendar.
Spring Around The World
On Saturday, April 2, the city of Irvine will host its annual Spring Around the World festival, which provides fun activities for kids and celebrates springtime traditions from around the globe.

In a statement, Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan said she was looking forward to celebrating with the community.
“Spring is a time when multiple festivals and holidays are celebrated around the world,” Khan said. “The inaugural Spring Around the World event is a testament to the city of Irvine’s commitment to celebrating and embracing its diverse and inclusive community, and I’m excited to share the many cultures and days of remembrance with all of you.”
