You probably associate margaritas more with sunny beaches than “fire and brimstone” sermons. However, there is one margarita rendition that seems to have worked its way into Satan’s hands—and he loves it!
If you’re looking for a blasphemous margarita rendition, look no further than this wine-infused cocktail. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to add a pinch of Tribe CBD oil to this “sinister” drink.
CBD Devil’s Margarita Recipe
While red wine gives this margarita its “bloody” appearance, the devil’s margarita isn’t as sinful as it seems. In fact, according to recent studies, red wine may be “angelic” from a nutritional perspective.
Interestingly, a glass or two of red wine could give your brain a massive boost. There are now multiple studies that suggest red wine could protect against memory-related diseases like dementia.
Not only that, a few glasses of red wine may help ward off mental health issues like depression. But, honestly, did we need scientists to tell us vino makes us happier?
Even though red wine seems to have many health benefits, doctors always advise patients to drink it in moderation. Ideally, healthy adults should have about one glass of red wine per day for no more than five days per week.
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- 1 oz lime juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- ½ oz red wine
- 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
- Lime wedge or wheel
- Pour tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and Tribe CBD oil in a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake for a few seconds
- Strain into a margarita glass
- Pour red wine over the back of a spoon
- Garnish with lime, if desired
Topping a cocktail with red wine may seem obscure…and it kind of is. However, there is another classic cocktail that features this final garnish. If you’ve been reading our previous CBD cocktail posts, you may already know what we’re talking about.
For those not “in the know,” we’re referring to the New York Sour. You could find out how to make this cocktail in our previous blog post.
FYI: A traditional New York Sour includes one raw egg white. There’s always a risk of salmonella poisoning if you choose to use this ingredient. To mimic the egg’s silky smooth texture, we’d recommend substituting with the water from a can of chickpeas (aka aquafaba).
Are There Antioxidants in Tribe CBD Oil?
Every wine connoisseur loves talking about all the antioxidants in their favorite beverage. However, did you know CBD oil also has plenty of free radical fighting compounds? Multiple new trials suggest hemp extract has many fascinating antioxidant effects on the body. This may account for the anti-aging effects many people notice after using a high-quality CBD cream.
